The new Samsung 3D glasses are battery-operated (active-shutter), requires Samsung 3D-ready TV that has emitter such as the Samsung C7000 and PNC8000 Plasma and a Samsung 3D Blu-ray player.

Interestingly, two pairs of the SSG-2100AB basic-model glasses only costs you $299. This is cheaper than buying the Samsung’s 3D starter kit that also contains two pairs of the SSG-2100AB glasses but costs $350, although it includes a 3D Blu-ray movie. They’re available for pre-order in the links below but no indication when they’ll be shipped.

Now fax machines can even make use of the GSM cellular networks to let you send and receive faxes at places where cellphone signals are available. In other words, they’ve become portable like your handset.

The GRETA GSM fax machine is the kind of portable fax machine that we’re talking about. It comes with a GSM slot that lets you insert a SIM card so it can make use of the GSM cellular network to send and receive faxes.

The GRETA portable fax machine also doubles up as a printer and scanner which can be connected to your PC tor laptop, or it can be used as a copier. It doesn’t require ink cartridges for its printer as it prints on thermal paper but you can’t simply use regular copier paper if you’ve run out.

It works like a mobile phone, has its own mobile phone number. You can even use it as a cellphone by connecting a headset or you can have it to print any SMS messages that it’s received. The GRETA GSM portable fax machine is definitely handy for business men on the run, but the initial investment is rather high; the GRETA costs you $794. And some more there will likely be monthly usage cost on your mobile network operator.

Besides having extra slot for your credit card, it also protects your Nexus One from dust and scratches, thanks to the ez-slide protective film and screen protection kit that come with the case.
